Darla’s owner had to relocate. The woman loved her dog dearly. But she was moving into the home of a member of her family to help take care of a sick relative. She could not take her companion with her. Darla was surrendered to the Harris County Animal Shelter with a note that read “please forgive me,” the woman also had $90.

Darla’s owner said she is an angel and has known her since she was a puppy. Darla deserves a home! She is a tan and white Boxer mix, and she is spayed. She is ready to go to her forever home. Darla has been waiting since December 8. Please share this story, so Darla doesn’t have to wait anymore.

Losing her beloved owner was enough sadness. Call Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services and ask about Darla their number is (281) 999-3191. Again, share people and lets help her find her home.
