Creating a bond of friendship with a pet is something every child wants. Being able to have someone you can share your secrets with can help kids to develop their own sense of identity. The photos that capture these moments are also incredibly special for any parent, and should be captured for when the child is old enough to see these moments for themselves.
Not to mention she’ll get to share them with her friends in school too. It won’t be surprising if they end up getting jealous at how great of a best friend Eddie is.
These photos reveal the wonderful friendship between Eddie the three-year old Maine Coon cat and his nine-month old sibling, Josilyn.
They even hold hands as they peer outside into the snow-covered backyard, wondering when they’re going to get the chance to go outside. Of course, that means a lot of bundling up, so maybe they should skip it just this once to stay inside.
And they always seem to be together. Eddie helps Josilyn learn how to crawl, as she chases him around the house, probably trying to get a hold of that wonderful tail of his.
With them already being this close, it’s going to be difficult to separate them when Josilyn gets much older.
Forget playdates. They’re quite content with each other’s company for the rest of their lives. Even now, at a year old, they’re completely inseparable, and they’d rather not have it any other way. Share away, people!
