No one believed it when Jazz, the mini horse was pregnant. Except for her wobbly legs and her body defying standard horse senses, she showed no sign of pregnancy. But Linda, Jazz’s owner knew that Jazz was pregnant. So, she started to take care of her as needed. However, Linda and her husband Jim were completely surprised when Jazz gave birth to a foal.
Linda and Jim were expecting Jazz’s baby Hope to born smaller than average since both her mom and dad were mini horses. But, they weren’t expecting Hope to be so small. Weighing just 13 pounds, Hope’s birth weight and height tied the world record for the smallest horse ever born. Linda says that Hope has a bright future. She also wishes to train Hope to be a therapy animal in her non-profit organization Mini Hooves of Love.
